5 potatoes, washed and cubed
2 T. dried minced onion
1 c. diced ham
1 can water chestnuts
4 c. frozen corn
2 T. butter
2 cubes chicken bouillon
Salt and pepper to taste
1 T. chives
1 can evaporated milk
1 T. cornstarch + 1 T. cold water
Shredded cheddar cheese
In a slow cooker, place the potatoes, onion, ham, water chestnuts, corn, and butter. Add water to cover and bouillon cubes. Cook on low setting for 8-9 hours, then stir in evaporated milk, cornstarch and water mixture, salt, pepper, and chives. Cook for 30 minutes more. Top with shredded cheese.
